"upstream of consciousness"

Welcome to the "Upstream Comedy"  website,  a stream of consciousness gone awry.  Brought to you by Joanne Filan and the letter Q,  this website will take you through some important details of Joanne's comedy history,  her present  ventures, and very possibly the future of her comedy,  if there is such a thing.   Joanne has known of her comedic talent for quite some time, going on 3 weeks now  to be exact,  and hopes to continue in this fashion until someone points out to her that she has no fashion.   Born and bred in New Jersey through no fault of her own,  Joanne started her comedic studies in college where she majored in marine biology.  After the learning portion of her life ended, she realized it was time to do something to showcase her natural talents.  It was then  that her shop-lifting period began.  Soon after realizing her god-given abilities where lost in the last move,  Joanne finally began on the road to her life in comedy.  This road has had some potholes and been under construction at points, and for a brief period had no entrance or exit ramps,  but overall has been a wonderful experience for her and has helped her to realize she's finally  where she should be and doing what she was meant to do.   Road construction.

"Very original, strong stage presence, great taglines, and great timing"

"watch out for stardom- Joanne Filan is one of those comics that you underestimate when she walks on stage.  Then when she is done, you feel her skills are underappreciated.   Her comedy about her lifestyle, the intelligence of people, and other items make Joanne one of those comics you better see before some bigwig Hollywood type takes her away."
